Travel Surgical Unit RN - Marietta, Georgia

This assignment is uniquely positioned within a bustling main surgical unit, open around the clock and handling a frequent, varied caseload. With exposure to cutting-edge technologies-including three DaVinci XI robots-and a high-acuity mix of Ortho, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic surgeries, you'll expand your skillset and gain valuable insights into diverse surgical practices and teamwork strategies.


Engage in twelve-hour night shifts (6:45 p.m.-7:15 a.m., 13 weeks), and enjoy the flexibility that travel assignments bring. When not at work, explore the lively dining scene, cultural festivals, and scenic parks of Marietta and nearby Atlanta, making the most of your downtime with enriching local adventures.


Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' recent experience as an OR RN
• Proven experience in Neuro and Thoracic surgical cases
• Valid AHA BLS certification
• Proficiency with Cerner
• Strong adaptability and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, rapidly changing environment
• No local applicants within 50 miles of Marietta, GA

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in high-acuity surgical cases (Ortho, Neuro, Urology, General, Thoracic)
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Safely operate and assist with DaVinci XI robotic surgeries
• Maintain stringent compliance with safety, infection control, and documentation policies
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and advocate for patients throughout the perioperative process
