Senior Legal Counsel

A growing organization operating in the energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and strategic investment sectors is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. This position will partner closely with senior leadership and play a key role in supporting corporate transactions, governance, compliance, commercial contracting, and strategic business initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney who enjoys working across multiple legal disciplines in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, services, confidentiality, partnership, and other business contracts.Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, capital raises, and other strategic corporate transactions.Manage legal due diligence processes, virtual data rooms (VDRs), transaction documentation, and post-closing matters.Advise business leaders on legal risk, dispute prevention, and litigation-related matters.Support corporate governance initiatives, board matters, and compliance programs.Assist with securities law compliance, public company reporting obligations, and regulatory filings.Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls related to legal and regulatory compliance.Provide guidance on anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and related regulatory requirements.Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized legal matters and litigation.Serve as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across finance, operations, corporate development, compliance, and executive leadership.Confidential Search: Additional company details will be shared with selected candidates following resume review.
