Job Details Job Location: 330 NECC HWTH2 - Hawthorne, CA 90250 Salary Range: $80.00 - $90.00 Hourly Position Title: Women's Health PA(Primary Care, Outpatient) Northeast Community Clinic (NECC), a major Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multi-specialty outpatient clinics located throughout Los Angeles County is seeking dedicated and mission-oriented Physician Assistants in Women's Health. Work Hours Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Position Summary We provide critically needed primary care to the underserved and uninsured populations throughout the Los Angeles area. We have a multidisciplinary team consisting of Family Medicine Physicians, Pediatricians, Internist, Endocrinologist, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers dedicated to the treatment of our primary care patients. We see 180,000 visits a year for 48,000 patients. Minimum Requirements Bilingual English/Spanish - Able to conduct the full assessment without an interpreter One (1) year of work experience as a certified NP - Rotations during training do not qualify under required experience Master of Science (M.S.) Qualifications Minimum Requirements Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent Communication Skills Excellent Customer Service (Bedside Manners) Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Ability to work as a team player and work independently Reliable transportation Must be able to travel from facility to facility This position requires 10 % travel outside the local area. Required Education/Experience and/or Licensure/Certifications Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program Must have a Nat'l Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date. Have approved credentials with Health Plans Active CA license and certification as Physician Assistant Active DEA License Commitment to goals and philosophy of Northeast Community Clinic Current CPR and/or BLS Certification Valid State Identification Physical Requirements and Working Conditions OSHA Category 1 – Involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. The work is majority of the time non-sedentary in nature. The employee is regularly required to communicate, frequently required to use repetitive motions, move, remain stationary, regularly push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.
