In addition, you will machine parts to specifications using tools such as mills, lathes, saws, and grinders.**Key Responsibilities:*** Plan and perform a normal range of rough and finish turning, drilling, tapping, boring, facing, recessing, thread cutting and similar machining operations on a variety of shafts, housings heads, and parts of various ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.* Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments like micrometers.* Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.* Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of operational sequence.* Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.* Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.* Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machine process.* Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.* Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment, report and correct and unsafe work practices or conditions immediately.* Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.* Multi-task various duties throughout the day; maintain a positive attitude with versatility and flexibility.* Communicate and interact with various teams and teammates to solve problems independently.**Basic Qualifications & Requirements:*** High School Diploma or GED equivalent* 2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing environment### ***The approximate pay range for this position is $23/HR - $30/HR.
