Join Fannie Mae to grow your career and help people find a place to call home.Job DescriptionAs a valued colleague on our team, you will design, develop, test, and/or maintain moderately complex hardware, technology, and/or processes.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Sr. DevOps Engineer (AWS) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and systems utilizing AWS services and systems with a strong focus on on-premises infrastructure.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards.Implement and manage AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Develop, test, and deploy applications on both OnPrem and AWS, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Develop and setup CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment of applications across all environmentsBuild tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experiencePerform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issuesDesign procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenanceProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization and cost efficiency.Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and implement solutions. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and software development. THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences:2 yearsExperience with Angular core concepts, modules, components, directives, and services.Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)Strong understanding of software architecture and design patternsProficiency with Git and GitHub workflowsExpertise developing applications in Java, Python with Maven or any other build toolExperience with AWS Services Working knowledge of databases specifically Oracle and SQLExperience with Linux/Unix Operating systems including scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python)Experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform or similar toolsShows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.Desired Experiences:Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field5-8 years experienceExperience with design and automating cloud-native CI / CD workflows and tools, using Jenkin, Gitlab or similar toolsProblem-solving attitudeCollaborative team spiritExperience in developing / engineering applications for a large companyTarget Pay Range: $123,000.00 - $161,000.00 a yearInternal Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure - Engineering - Senior Associate#LI-JM1 #LI-OnsiteQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
