Branch Sales Associate

Location: Elmsford, NY

Duration: 6 Months

Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 7am to 4pm

Responsibilities:

Provide a high level of customer service through multiple service channels as defined in the Company Service Promise.

Navigate customers to solutions that help them accomplish their tasks.

Drive sales growth by identifying leads for further selling opportunities with every customer interaction.

Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, product picking, and vehicle loading.

Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.

Adapt communication style for different audiences via email, phone, or in-person.

Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.

Prepare customer backorders and organize stock received.

Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.

Perform inventory counts and housekeeping tasks to maintain branch appearance.

Learn and navigate through different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.

Comply with safety guidelines and process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

Flexibility to work within branch hours of operation.

Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.

Capability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
