About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the strategic evolution of its brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for re-framing the brand from a convenience-positioned service to an identity-positioned category leader, with a focus on the emotional and economic value of the category. This role requires a senior marketing executive with a proven track record in direct-to-consumer marketing, including a strong background in performance marketing, brand evolution, and a deep understanding of the modern DTC tech stack. The CMO will be tasked with owning the full marketing P&L, managing a diverse media program, and leading the brand's transition to a more premium, considered-purchase model. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with at least 10 years in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a history of leading a meaningful marketing P&L at scale, with a focus on blended return-on-ad-spend, customer acquisition cost, and contribution margin. Experience in multi-channel performance marketing, including digital, broadcast, and direct-response channels, is essential. The role also demands a leader with a strong background in team management, cross-functional coordination, and a personal connection to the mission of storytelling and memory recollection. The CMO will be expected to be self-directed, entrepreneurial, and resilient, with a high level of personal integrity and a commitment to operational discipline.
