Repairman 3

Job Description

The Repairman 3 mechanic with expertise in all aspects of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical repairs and equipment overhauls.
• Diagnose root causes of recurring failures and develop corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance planning teams.
• Provide technical expertise during shutdowns and capital projects.
• Mentor mechanics across multiple shifts.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Required:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 7-10 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Expert knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • High level of safety and quality
  • Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving skills
• Preferred:
  • Technical certifications or associate degree.
  • Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Computer Software.
  • Warehouse experience.
