Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Variable nights/evenings: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with rotations that include 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM. The schedule follows a 7 on 7 off rotation, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends. Call is required every third weekend.

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring accurate and timely test results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests as ordered.
• Analyze and interpret test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control standards are met.
• Document and report results and abnormalities in a timely manner.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies while working in the lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is required.
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
