Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in executing OKANA's integrated marketing strategy across digital, social, website, email, advertising, and on-property marketing channels. This position is responsible for managing website content and functionality, supporting SEO and AI Search optimization, coordinating creative projects, developing marketing assets, executing campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency across all guest touchpoints. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, digitally savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of marketing experience; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, AI Search optimization, Google Analytics (GA4), website content management systems (CMS), and social media platforms.
  • Experience managing website content and functionality.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Revinate, Mailchimp, or similar) preferred.
  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva strongly preferred.
  • Photography and basic video editing skills a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft 365 and marketing software.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute efficiently.

Performance Standards:

  • Customer Service: Demonstrates professionalism and responsiveness when working with internal departments, external vendors, and guests; maintains a positive attitude and resolves issues promptly to support a seamless guest experience.
  • People Management: Collaborates effectively with colleagues, supporting team projects and maintaining Pyramid Global Hospitality's "people-first" culture; demonstrates accountability and respect in all interactions.
  • Quality: Ensures accuracy and consistency in all marketing materials; maintains brand standards and proofreads all deliverables before release; consistently meets deadlines with a high standard of work.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage all website content, updates, functionality, landing pages, and ongoing optimization.
  • Execute SEO strategy and AI Search optimization to improve organic visibility and search performance.
  • Assist in designing digital and print marketing materials including signage, email graphics, presentations, and promotional collateral while maintaining brand standards.
  • Coordinate photo shoots, video shoots, and content creation projects.
  • Build and deploy email marketing campaigns and assist with CRM initiatives.
  • Manage the resort's online reputation through timely responses to guest reviews across all outlets.
  • Assist with digital advertising asset management and campaign execution.
  • Support resort events, promotions, grand openings, and on-property activations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain digital asset libraries, marketing inventories, and brand standards.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging marketing technology, SEO, and AI Search developments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: Frequent – primarily at a desk/computer for extended periods.
  • Standing/Walking: Occasional – for meetings, events, or onsite promotions.
  • Crouching (Bend at knees): Rare – may be required when handling marketing materials or displays.
