2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Lead

Overview This person will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring the department runs at the company-set efficiency, and will ensure that breakdowns are restored in the quickest and safest manner possible. They will assist production in the daily operation of the department and be proactive to production needs. They will assume the supervisor’s responsibilities in his/her absence and help train fellow team members/new hires in areas as needed. Responsibilities Maintain department efficiency as set by the company. Restore breakdowns quickly and safely. Assist production in daily department operations and respond proactively to production needs. Assume supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor. Train fellow team members and new hires as needed. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Additional maintenance training/experience required. Skill Summary Minimum of three years mechanical background. Knowledge of both welding and plumbing. Must be able to operate a cutting torch and plasma cutter. Able to operate loaders.
