Job Description
The Truck Driver, OTR is responsible for safely transporting flatbed freight across regional multi-state routes, variable routes based on demand, and dedicated customer lanes. This role requires accurate documentation, careful cargo handling, compliance with applicable safety requirements, and professional customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Drive long-haul and regional multi-state routes to transport flatbed freight safely and efficiently.
- Load, inspect, and secure flatbed cargo for transportation.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain required logbooks and trip records.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and applicable compliance requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries.
- Adjust routes based on demand while supporting dedicated customer lanes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years in over-the-road truck driving.
- CDL A Driver's License
