Physical Therapist - Outpatient & Acute Care

Location: Spruce Pine, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with experience in both outpatient and acute care settings. This role involves providing high-quality therapeutic services to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, vestibular rehab, balance training, and gait training.
• Utilize various modalities and equipment, including pool therapy, cardiovascular equipment, and balance training devices.
• Document patient progress in EMR systems (CERNER for acute care and Nethealth Xfits for outpatient).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of NC.
• Outpatient and Acute Care Experience is required.
• Preferred experience in Orthopedic, Sports Med, Spine, and manual therapy.
• Experience in Vestibular, vertigo, and stroke rehab is a plus.
