MRI Technologist

Sentara is hiring an MRI Technologist in Williamsburg, VA. Full‑time position, evening shift. A sign‑on bonus of $20K is available for qualified candidates. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area for all persons, including staff and patients. You will maintain adequate supply inventory, explain examinations and procedures to patients, and complete departmental documentation. Qualifications Completion of an MRI school/MRI certificate program or graduation from a 24‑month radiologic technology program (in lieu of experience). CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT required. Must obtain an ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire. BLS certification. One year of experience in a Radiologic Technology position (Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound) is preferred. Six months of MR experience or completion of an MR didactic program is preferred.
