Phlebotomist - Per Diem
$17.75 - $24 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a per diem phlebotomist for its Passaic, New Jersey location to perform blood collections, specimen processing, and patient services on an as-needed schedule. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups and may require travel to additional sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Process specimens and enter patient data accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year phlebotomy experience or accredited certification/training program
- Proven customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently or in teams with minimal supervision
Compensation: $17.75–$24.00 per hour
