- Responsible for providing guidance and training to staff in Finance department. Supports operational goals.
- Completes and adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to deadlines.
- Complete daily auditing, processing and recording of revenue and expenses and ensure that all work is completed on time.
- Monitor compliance of revenue activities on the property via the exception process to ensure that all relative documentation is completed in compliance with all applicable policies and laws, including SOX.
- Ensure procedural policies for audits, research variances, make corrections or revisions as needed, and cooperate with internal and external auditors as needed.
- Complete journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and produce various revenue reports and statistical analysis.
- Opens and sorts mail.
- Codes non-po invoices and indicates "Requestor".
- Enters urgent check requests that are of high priority.
- Enters ABC direct debits and applies against PO's.
- Assists with pending receipts as needed.
- Reviews vendor statements as needed.
- Scans and sends invoices to the appropriate email address for SS AP.
- Completes data entry for accounting reports distributed to the property.
- Enters warehouse adjustments and inventory counts for the EOM inventory process.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Casino Audit experience required.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
