Job Description
Title
CA LVN - Outpatient / Urgent Care

Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 11:30am-10:00pm
- Saturday-Sunday: 8:30am-7:00pm
- Weekend requirement: Yes - every other weekend, including some holidays

Requirements
- Active California LVN license
- IV certification and blood draw/phlebotomy
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Minimum 1 year experience in Urgent Care or ER
- Minimum 2 years overall outpatient experience
- Charting system experience with EPIC preferred
- Supervisor references: 2 from within the past year required at submission

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
- Perform assessments, triage patients, and manage acute illness and injuries.
- Administer vaccines and intravenous treatments as needed.
- Conduct procedures such as phlebotomy, wound care, and EKGs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the electronic health record system.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 120 hours
- No scheduling requests accommodated; maximum RTO: 7 days
- No RTO allowed within first 2 weeks of assignment
