Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Sr. Project Manager – Mechanical ContractorWe are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while working closely with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.The Project Manager plays a key role in driving project success—coordinating resources, managing contracts and procurement, and ensuring projects stay aligned with schedule, cost, and quality goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical construction projects from start to finishManage project budgets, schedules, and cost controlConduct preconstruction turnover meetings and oversee project startup activitiesCoordinate procurement of materials and equipmentNegotiate and manage subcontractor agreementsOversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and logsAdminister contracts, billing schedules, and change ordersMonitor labor productivity and staffing on assigned projectsTrack project financial performance, forecasting, and cost managementReview and approve subcontractor and supplier invoicesEnsure permits, licenses, and compliance requirements are metMaintain clear communication with field teams, subcontractors, and clientsQualificationsExperience managing mechanical construction projectsStrong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost controlAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience coordinating with subcontractors and field teamsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)Typically 10+ years of relevant construction experience
