Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Full Time – Kinston, NC. MainStreet Family Care is seeking a provider to deliver urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment. $5,000 sign‑on bonus. New graduates accepted; on‑site orientation, mentored training shifts, and ongoing education support. Provides full scope of practice, from pediatric to geriatric care, within the scope of an FNP. Serves rural communities; works extended hours, 7 days a week, with rotating schedule to balance weekend coverage. Responsibilities Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues. Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign body removal, etc.). Suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations/management. Review of x‑rays (to be over‑read by radiologist). General dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations. Emergency management skills. General gynecological expertise. Treating children of all ages. Occupational medicine. Telemedicine. Schedule MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sample schedule: Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF). Qualifications Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required. MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly). DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
