Care Manager

Support Care Managers under close supervision Provide reception, records maintenance, and general clerical assistance Coordinate with hospital departments and external customers Respond promptly to phone inquiries Respond timely to required written documentation Maintain files, logs, and registers for Care Managers Distribute CMS-required forms such as IMM and MOONs Complete discharge appeals Requirements High School graduate or GED equivalent Two (2) years medical office experience or an equivalent combination of education and administrative experience Knowledge of customer service concepts and practice Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations Knowledge of basic medical terminology Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications Skill in operating office equipment such as copiers and fax machines Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others No certification, registration, or licensure required Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in medical office operations, including customer service, records maintenance, and compliance with privacy laws. Capable of effectively coordinating with various departments and managing documentation for care management.
