Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager

Position Summary

QuickMed Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager to lead our clinical team. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, supporting and developing nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, patient-centered culture.

This leadership role requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing and clinical staff.
• Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
• Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage staffing schedules and assist with staffing coverage as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
• Respond to clinical concerns and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Urgent care, emergency department, family practice, or outpatient experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Current BLS certification required.
