Seven Healthcare are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Med Surg Travel role in Peoria, IL. This position focuses on the MedSurg Women's Care Unit within an acute care setting. Applicants should be familiar with a fast-paced work environment and be adept at handling a variety of medical and surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MedSurg patients
• Handle common medical diagnoses such as hysterectomy, mastectomy, and postpartum care
• Administer medications including blood, heparin, and insulin drips
• Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care technicians
• Float to general medical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Active Illinois Nursing License or application in process
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience
• Skill proficiency in NG and foley placement
• Experience with titrating heparin and insulin drips
