Introduction Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a veterinarian committed to delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care while building strong relationships with clients and supporting the health and wellbeing of their patients. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. The role involves conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The position also requires clear and compassionate communication with clients, ensuring pet owners understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements. You will collaborate closely with the wider clinical team to ensure efficient patient care while also participating in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence.
