Salary: $168,400 - 168,400 per year Requirements:
- We require 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- We require 5+ years of programming experience in at least one software language.
- We require 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- We require 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- We seek experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- We prefer a masters degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
- We solve complex technical problems, often at layers of the stack that have not been addressed before.
- We design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that improve service performance, durability, cost, and security.

- We research implementations that deliver the best possible customer experience.

Our Neuron team develops a deep learning compiler stack that translates models from frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Jax into code for execution on our custom AWS hardware. This Senior Software Development Engineer role focuses on strengthening the Neuron compilers build, test, release, and distributed execution infrastructure so customer workloads can run more efficiently in the cloud.
