Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Shelby Township, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before permitting entry in accordance with site procedures. Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate visitor and contractor records, issue and recover credentials as directed, and report access discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
