Growing together.As the CNA Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support for their families during end-of-life care. This position focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being. Working closely with the hospice care team, as the CNA Hospice Aide, you will help ensure patients receive respectful, individualized care in alignment with their care plan.Primary Responsibilities:Provides personal care services to patientsApplies safety principles and proper body mechanics to the performance of specific techniques of personal and supportive care such as ambulation of clients, transferring clients, assisting with the normal range of motion and positioning, and doing household choresPlans and prepares nutritious meals, assists with feeding, as assignedPerforms homemaking and other environmental services as assignedObserves, reports, and documents any changes in patient's status. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the primary nurseFollow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care. Written instructions are to be received prior to the delivery of servicesAssists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapistPerforms and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albuminOther duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant (CNA) as per state certification/registration requirementsCurrent CPR certificationPreferred Qualification:CNA experience within the last two yearsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $23.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
