Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be comfortable using a computer, and be able to provide professional and helpful service to customers.

This position involves communicating with customers by phone and email, entering customer and order information, assisting with sales inquiries, tracking inventory, and helping resolve customer questions or concerns.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers by phone and email
• Respond to customer questions and requests
• Handle inbound calls and follow up with customers
• Enter and maintain customer and order information in computer systems
• Assist with preparing sales orders and providing pricing information
• Track inventory and product availability
• Assist customers with delivery and order-related questions
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Perform basic administrative and data-entry tasks
• Work effectively with team members and management

Requirements

• Computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Ability to send professional emails
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Previous customer service, sales, office, or related experience is a plus

The position requires the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use computer systems, including databases, inventory/order processing, spreadsheets, and word-processing software.
