Job Description The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Intensive Support Specialist provides outstanding person-centered intensive support services to a small caseload of adults with current or historical substance use treatment needs, a diagnosed severe and persistent mental health disorder, and who have experienced multiple hospitalizations. Services are comprehensive, integrated, community-based and include psychiatric treatment, social services, and rehabilitation. The Specialist reports to the Behavioral Health Services Manager and works to build professional relationships with stakeholders and community providers. The role offers flexible hours, with the option to work remotely for administrative tasks or video services. The Specialist regularly meets with individuals in homes, community, hospitals, crisis units, criminal justice settings, and Bluebonnet Trails’ clinics to provide case management and rehabilitative skill training. The goal is to stabilize mental health symptoms, reduce recidivism risk, increase awareness of community and natural supports, develop self-advocacy, and aid independent behavioral health services participation. Training and professional development focus on serving a small caseload of individuals with frequent hospitalizations and using a state-of-the-art electronic medical record. Key competencies include innovative thinking, patience, resiliency, advocacy, service coordination, mental health assessment and evaluation, collaborative recovery planning, and dual-diagnosis treatment. The Specialist works independently and as part of a team, prioritizes crisis needs, attends regular meetings and trainings, balances self-care, and performs duties with a positive attitude. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a major equivalent to psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, or early childhood education/intervention. Experience in behavioral health care, intensive community treatment, and substance use, abuse, and dependency treatment. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License, meet Bluebonnet Trails Community Services driving requirements, and maintain approved driving status throughout employment. If the degree is not in a Human Services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a Human Services field are required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with an Assertive Community Treatment program, behavioral health, and/or case management. Advanced degree in a Human Services field. Provisionally licensed (LCDC‑I, LCSW‑A, LMFT‑A, LPC‑A). Compensation & Location Hourly Salary Range: $22.21 – $31.46 Location: Round Rock, TX Differentials:

• 75/hour for Bilingual
• 50/hour for LCDC

• 1.00/hour for Associate or Advanced Licensure
• 1.00/hour for two years previous experience

Up to $4.00/hour for tenured staff at BTCS Up to $2.00/hour for ACT team differentials

• 4.00/hour for weekend differential
• 2.00/hour for evening differential
