Pharmacy Tech - West Chester, Ohio

A retail pharmacy technician position is available on a 13-week contract-to-perm basis in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment, working closely with pharmacists to ensure patient safety and excellent customer service.
Location: West Chester, OH (Cincinnati area)
Schedule:
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the system.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions while ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.
- Communicate with third-party prescription plans to resolve claim issues and facilitate prescription processing.
- Clear and active pharmacy technician license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Experience with Pioneer Rx software is a plus.
