Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Arizona teaching certification
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, or willingness to obtain one
• Experience with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for delivering evidence-based interventions to school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with fellow educators and families
• Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Monitor and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning
• Serve as a valuable resource for parents, teachers, and staff regarding communication disorders and strategies
• Stay current on best practices and continuing education in the field
