Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Lansing, Michigan. Start date: 06/29/2026 for a 13-week assignment. 36 guaranteed hours per week with 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Weekly pay ranges from $1,846 to $1,937. This ICU position supports patients from adolescent to geriatric in an acute care setting, with potential float to other ICU-related areas based on census. The role involves developing, coordinating and delivering high-level critical care, while supervising CNA/SNA, LPN or other health care workers as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care to critically ill patients across adolescent to geriatric ages, including medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical diagnoses
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications and therapies, interpret monitor data and adjust care plans accordingly
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely interventions and smooth patient flow
- Provide supervision to CNA/SNA, LPN or other health care workers as assigned
- Maintain professional nursing standards, document accurately in the electronic medical record, and communicate effectively with physicians and families
- Adapt to census fluctuations; may float to other ICU areas related to census while maintaining care continuity

Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license
- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Minimum 2+ years ICU experience (Surgical and Cardiac) required
- Open heart Returns experience preferred
- Travel assignment experience preferred
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; 36 hours per week; capable of floating to other ICU areas as needed
- Education: not specified in the job notes beyond RN licensure
