Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Evaluate patients' needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Use research-driven techniques to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in concert with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide training for patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep them on track for success.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
