$1500 SIGN ON BONUS for 7am-3pm

$2000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR 3PM-11PM

$2500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR 11PM-7AM

$2000 SIGN ON BONUS for all weekend shifts

Highland Care Center, a 320-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our staff. Shifts Available:

• Full-time day shifts

• Full-time evening shifts

• Full-time night shifts

• Full-time weekend shifts

Base Pay:

• $33.85 per hour

• Evening and night shifts eligible for a 10% shift differential

Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position:

Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Assess and document resident progress in the medical record

• Obtain changes in physician's orders as indicated by resident's progress or lack of progress

• Communicate pertinent information about resident condition and progress to charge nurses, supervisors and Director of Nursing, as indicated

• Administer medications and treatments accurately as ordered by the physician and according to all facility policies and procedures

• Assist in monitoring the inventory of medications, medical supplies and equipment to be sure adequate supplies of skin care products are on hand to meet the needs of residents

• Participate in educational programs for residents and their family members relative to skin care when a resident is being discharged to home

• Participate in Quality Improvement activities, as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse current state license in New York

• At least one (1) year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred

• Must have a current/active CPR certification

• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills

• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions
