Lead Transportation Security Officer

Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. is hiring experienced Lead Transportation Security Officers to support professional security screening operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support assigned security screening personnel.

• Coordinate daily work assignments and screening activities.

• Help maintain adequate staffing and coverage during assigned shifts.

• Monitor screening operations and assist with passenger flow.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job support to security officers.

• Assist with training and development of assigned employees.

• Ensure employees follow established security procedures and company policies.

• Identify and report operational or security concerns.

• Assist supervisory personnel with resolving day-to-day operational issues.

• Perform security screening duties when required.

• Operate assigned screening equipment after completing required training.

• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

• Provide professional customer service.

• Complete required training and maintain all required certifications and credentials.

• Support early morning, daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday operations as scheduled.

Requirements

• Previous security screening, security operations, aviation security, military, law enforcement, or similar experience preferred.

• Previous team lead or leadership experience preferred.

• Ability to lead and support employees in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

• Ability to follow and enforce detailed security procedures.

• Must successfully complete required background screening and credentialing.

• Must successfully complete required training and certification.

• Must be able to stand and remain active for extended periods.

• Must be able to handle baggage and personal property when required.

• Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working with the public.

• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
