This role involves regular patching, troubleshooting, and collaborating with other IT teams to implement infrastructure solutions that align with command requirements.HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTTroubleshoot issues within Windows Server 2019/2022 Operating Systems.Perform regular maintenance tasks including patching and remediation.Manage certificate lifecycle management processes for web servers and secure communication channels.Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.Ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and best practices.Build, deploy, and maintain server applications and proprietary software.Install critical system patches and perform system upgrades.Interact with end-users to understand and evaluate functional requirements.Interface with third-party vendors for troubleshooting and support.Maintain system documentation and prepare process guides.Support projects to enhance operational efficiency and security.Track and escalate problems at the appropriate priority level.Produce management reports and informational packets to support process improvementsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 CertificationRequiredExperience: 3+ years of related experienceSecurity Clearance Level: Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI upon hiringUS Citizenship RequiredRequired Skills and Abilities:Experience in systems administration and infrastructure management.Understanding of Certificate Lifecycle Management.Ability to prepare comprehensive documentation for systems administration tasks.Preferred Skills:Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission.Experience working in cross-functional IT teams and projects.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.Location:On site at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FLGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
