About the Position

Job Title

NICU Registered Nurse – Level IV

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to sick or premature newborns in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Deliver advanced treatment and monitoring for neonates with respiratory failure and heart disease
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed per unit requirements
• Participate in rotating shift schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of two (2) years of NICU nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• NRP 8th Edition certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or Level III/IV NICU setting
• Prior charge nurse experience in a neonatal care environment
