Sales Manager

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to help lead and grow an established mechanical services division across the Portland market. This isn’t a “sit back and manage the sales team” position. It’s a highly visible, hands‑on opportunity for someone who still loves the thrill of opening doors, building relationships and winning business — but also wants a seat at the table when it comes to strategy, people and growth. Take real ownership of the growth of an HVAC/mechanical division Build on existing customer relationships while developing new business Help shape the sales strategy, KPIs and direction of the department Develop and lead a growing team Work closely with leadership and operations rather than selling in a silo Build long-term relationships throughout the Portland/PNW market Earn uncapped commission tied to the business you help create What You’ll Do You’ll drive new business across commercial HVAC, mechanical and refrigeration services, develop strategic accounts, conduct job walks, build proposals and opportunities, grow existing customers, and help take projects from the initial relationship through successful execution. You’ll also help develop the team, establish sales goals and KPIs, and partner closely with operations to make sure what is sold is delivered well. We’d Love to Talk if You Have: 5+ years in mechanical, HVAC or refrigeration sales/sales leadership 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong commercial/industrial mechanical knowledge A proven track record of winning new business Strong relationships and networking skills The ability to sell consultatively at the executive level Experience with schools, universities, healthcare facilities or large commercial accounts We’re looking for a hunter who can also lead — competitive and driven, but collaborative, authentic and relationship-focused.
