There are many ways to get involved, from Employee Resource Groups to local outreach.Here’s the Gist:Inthisroleyouwilljointhe Ion Implant EngineeringteamatourMohawkValleyFab(MVF)—theworld'slargest200mmSiCwaferfabricationfacility—tosustain,optimize,andimprove ion implantation processsystemsusedinthemanufactureofsiliconcarbidepowerdevices.Yourequipmentportfoliowillinclude Nissin, AMAT, and Axcelis implanters.The Day-to-Day:Conduct preventive maintenance (MTBPM), tool fingerprinting, and CIPs to meet tool availability goals; drive root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment excursions to prevent recurrenceCreate and maintain PM procedures, tool configuration records, and tool acceptance specifications; support tool selection decisions for capacity increases and process development/transferPartner with process engineering and production to improve quality metrics, reduce scrap and rework, and drive cost reduction; present technical data and project updates to peers and managementChampion safety and EHS complianceManage spare parts inventory and equipment BOMs; coordinate with vendors on technical escalations, parts sourcing, and field service supportThis Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2+ years of semiconductor experienceHands-on experience sustaining ion implantation equipment in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environmentDemonstrated awareness of fab safety protocolsProficiency in technical writing and presentationsThis role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors.
