Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

$2203.20/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Travel RN with a specialization in Med-Surg and Inpatient Psych to provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 13-week assignment. The role requires strong clinical skills, adherence to hospital protocols, and flexibility to cover various units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive nursing care to psychiatric inpatients, ensuring safety and stability.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and monitor patients' responses in accordance with physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately using the facilitys EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Respond quickly to emergent situations, maintaining safety for patients and staff.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all regulatory standards, hospital policies, and dress code requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in psychiatric or medical-surgical nursing.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in inpatient psychiatric care and Crisis Intervention techniques.
  
  
• 
  Be ICU/Med-Surg/Psych unit experience preferred, with an ability to adapt quickly.
  
  
• 
  Have Epic EMR experience or willingness to learn.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
