Inside Sales Representative-Correspondent Lending (Mortgage)

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative-Correspondent Lending , to join our fast-growing Mortgage enterprise. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, you will take an active role to expand correspondent client base, develop new seller relationships and increase production from existing accounts.

This position requires a proven mortgage sales professional with direct experience in correspondent lending or wholesale inside sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and onboarding new accounts.

The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the national and regional sales teams to expand market coverage and ensure prospective and existing clients receive responsive, knowledgeable support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new correspondent seller relationships through outbound calls, email campaigns, referrals and other targeted outreach
• Guide qualified prospects through the account approval, onboarding and activation process
• Engage approved, non-producing and inactive accounts to identify opportunities to generate new loan volume
• Develop production in markets and client segments not consistently covered by the national or regional sales teams
• Build and maintain an active sales pipeline with clear follow-up activities and conversion objectives
• Educate clients on Company’s Non-Agency and Non-QM products, pricing, guidelines, technology and service capabilities
• Identify client needs and coordinate with credit, operations, pricing and account management teams to provide effective solutions
• Maintain consistent contact with assigned accounts to strengthen relationships and increase production
• Deliver a high level of responsiveness and customer service throughout the sales and onboarding process
• Maintain accurate and timely client, pipeline and activity records within the company’s CRM
• Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns, prospect outreach and lead-development initiatives
• Represent professionally in all client interactions

Qualifications:

• Experienced mortgage sales professional with direct correspondent or wholesale inside sales experience
• Demonstrated success developing new accounts and converting prospects into producing client relationships
• Strong understanding of the mortgage origination process and correspondent or wholesale lending channels
• Familiarity with Non-Agency and Non-QM mortgage products strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and consistently execute outbound prospecting activities
• Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain mortgage products, guidelines and processes clearly and confidently
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and comfortable working within a performance-based sales environment
• Strong organizational skills with disciplined follow-up and attention to detail
• Experience using CRM systems and other sales-management tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, credit, operations, marketing and account-management teams
