Job Title: SIPSS2 SIPS Specialist 2

Location: Birmingham, AL (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract 3-4 Months (Extendable)

Job Description

·       Responsible for supporting the SCM SIPS team with vetting, establishing and maintaining the 30k+ supplier master database in support of Southern's Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

·       This is a fast paced, high volume transaction role which requires facilitating sensitive & confidential data, interfacing with both internal and external customers and compliance with auditing controls and guidelines.

·       Potential candidate needs to be customer service oriented, able to work independently and flexible to changes in responsibility to meet the needs of the team.

·       Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, excellent verbal & written communication skills, ability to

·       If unable to pickup processes quickly and efficiently will have a direct impact on retention.

·       There is an expectation of long-term retention past 01/31/2024=5 of high performing candidates.

·       We are currently hybrid - remote Mon & Fri/In office Tue,Wed,Thur. The expectation is that the chosen candidate will adhere to this hybrid model understanding that there may be more in office time during onboarding and training initially.
