US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Full-Time Medical Front Office Specialist to join our team at HeartPlace in Bedford, TX.Responsibilities:Answers phone calls in a timely and efficient mannerTransfers calls according to procedureSchedules appointments in a timely and efficient mannerSchedules appointments as directed by referring providersPages providers for hospital consults/call backs according to procedureConfirming of appointmentsEnters authorization information on patient account in computerCross trains on covering check in/out for other officesMay travel to cover other offices · Maintains information in a confidential mannerPerforms related work as requiredRequirements:1 year of medical front desk and customer service experience is required6 months of obtaining prior authorization experience is required6 months of EMR experience is required.
