Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk to join a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Oak Forest, IL. The ideal candidate will support production and shipping operations by managing incoming materials, verifying inventory, documenting deliveries, and ensuring all receiving records are accurately maintained and uploaded into the appropriate systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Take photographs of all received materials and upload them into the appropriate systems.
• Verify quantities and product quality against purchase orders.
• Document and report discrepancies, shortages, and damaged materials.
• Label and store products in designated warehouse locations, including shipping, raw materials, corrugated, cage, and cold room areas.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding deliveries.
• Scan and upload all receiving documents into the required systems within 24 hours of receipt.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, shipping, or inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 4050 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills, including scanning and uploading documents.

Additional Information

• Training will be completed on 1st shift.
• Background check and drug test required.
