Contract | Nights, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing 135+ patients per day
• Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio across a 41-bed unit
• Care for a diverse patient population including Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD presentations
• Support operations within a Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including 24/7 Cath Lab and Level 3 NICU services

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required upon extension

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity or Level 3 trauma-designated emergency department
