Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Pediatric OutpatientLocation: Paris, TN Job Type: Full-Time Part-Time: ConsideredWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic. The COTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide individualized, one-on-one occupational therapy interventions to children ages 0-18.The position focuses on helping children develop functional independence in areas including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, motor planning, coordination, activities of daily living, play, developmental skills, and other appropriate therapeutic goals.Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed OT.Implement individualized treatment plans.Provide skilled therapeutic interventions based on each child's needs.Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, coordination, motor planning, ADLs, play, and developmental skills.Support functional independence and participation.Monitor patient responses and progress.Communicate observations and progress to the supervising OT.Collaborate with parents/caregivers and other healthcare professionals.Reinforce home programs and treatment strategies.Complete accurate and timely documentation.Participate in team meetings and maintain a positive clinical environment.Provide child-centered and engaging treatment sessions.Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.Current Tennessee COTA license or eligibility for Tennessee licensure.Current COTA certification/credentials required to practice.Must be in good standing with the applicable licensing board.Must pass a background check.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under the direction of a supervising OT.Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. New graduate COTAs are welcome.Candidates should have a strong interest in working with children.Must be comfortable with a Monday-Thursday schedule.Must be comfortable with a billable-hour compensation structure.Candidate must have their own health insurance.PTO after one year of employment.Flexible scheduling.Annual CEU reimbursement.Supplemental benefits may be available.No weekend, night, or on-call requirements.
