Description Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology in accordance with established guidelines.
• Evaluate and validate test results for accuracy, address discrepancies, and ensure optimal performance through routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and preparation for analysis, when necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and uphold the highest standards of lab quality assurance.
• Sustain a clean, organized work environment while strictly adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable degree together with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of certification is required throughout your employment.
