FLORES | Full-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt | $27.09–$36.65/hour + Commission

About FLORES

FLORES is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Sales Associate to join our Business Development team. This is an opportunity for a dynamic sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, closing new business, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in growing FLORES by securing new client service contracts and developing long-term client relationships. Working closely with the Director of Business Development, you will help shape sales strategies, expand our market presence, and position FLORES as a trusted strategic partner.

What You'll Do

Drive New Business & Sales

• Identify, research, and pursue prospective clients through networking, referrals, online research, cold outreach, and other channels.
• Respond promptly and professionally to leads and inquiries.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company revenue goals.
• Negotiate and close new business contracts.
• Understand pricing structures and develop solutions that meet both client and company needs.
• Manage NDAs and coordinate contracts and service documentation.
• Ensure sales and contract activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Build Strong Client Relationships

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and prospective clients.
• Understand client needs and recommend solutions tailored to their goals.
• Partner with the Director of Business Development and Client Services team to support a seamless client experience.
• Provide consistent, high-quality service aligned with FLORES' Platinum Service Promise.
• Support client events and initiatives.
• Maintain regular client communication and provide updates regarding progress, needs, and opportunities.
• Strive to under-promise and over-deliver in every client interaction.

Collaborate with Marketing

• Work closely with Marketing to align sales and marketing initiatives.
• Participate in campaigns and initiatives designed to generate new business.
• Share client feedback, industry insights, and market trends with the Marketing team.
• Identify creative opportunities to strengthen FLORES' sales and brand presence.
• Help maintain a strong FLORES presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.

Network & Develop Opportunities

• Attend industry and networking events to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong network of prospective clients and industry contacts.
• Maintain accurate and confidential prospect and networking information.
• Stay current on sales tools, techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Track Performance & Analyze the Market

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Use CRM software such as HubSpot to manage prospects, opportunities, and client interactions.
• Prepare pipeline and revenue reports for the Director of Business Development.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activity.
• Develop strategies to expand market share and adjust sales approaches based on market conditions.

Support Client Success & Internal Teams

• Support new clients and help ensure a smooth transition into services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Monitor client satisfaction and participate in customer feedback initiatives.
• Maintain working knowledge of HR, accounting, payroll, financial markets, and financial data analysis and reporting.
• Manage multiple projects and utilize status dashboards to monitor progress.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and company information.
• Travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of sales and client management experience.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting, HR, and payroll principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong critical thinking, active listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and market trends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company dress and workplace standards.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience selling professional services, HR, payroll, accounting, or related business solutions.
• Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM.
• Experience with project management tools and status dashboards.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $27.09–$36.65 per hour, plus commission

Compensation is aligned with FLORES' established pay band structure. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other applicable factors.
