Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Description

My client is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join their Scottsdale office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and deposition experience.


Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to insurance, personal injury, general liability, professional liability, and construction defect.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare and present cases effectively.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and guide them through the litigation process.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 1-3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in AZ or ability to be admitted within 1 year of employment.
