Service Director – Culver City, CAWe are currently recruiting for a Service Director opportunity with a well-established organization in Culver City, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position ideal for someone who is compassionate, polished, highly organized, and comfortable providing exceptional service to families during sensitive and meaningful occasions.The Service Director works closely with Funeral Directors and other staff to coordinate and support funeral and memorial services from setup through completion. Prior funeral or mortuary experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, events, guest services, or other highly client-facing environments are encouraged to apply.Schedule: Full-time, onsite | 8:00 AM–4:30 PMLocation: Culver City, CAAvailability: Must be available to work Sundays. Saturdays are typically off, along with one additional weekday.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the coordination and execution of funeral and memorial services from setup through completionPrepare service areas, including flowers, programs, music selections, caskets, and other service detailsWelcome and assist families, guests, and religious leaders in a compassionate and professional mannerCommunicate with families and staff to ensure services run smoothly and according to scheduleProvide direction and assistance to guests throughout servicesSpeak comfortably and professionally in front of groups when neededAnticipate family and guest needs while maintaining discretion, sensitivity, and confidentialityMaintain service areas and ensure the facility remains neat, organized, and properly stockedAssist with light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, and general cleanupWork collaboratively with Funeral Directors and other team members to provide a high level of service
