Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of site facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. Assists in overseeing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and facility guidelines.

Essential Functions

Supports the management of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance. Assists in coordinating the activities of maintenance staff and contractors for timely completion of tasks. Monitors facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment, for proper functioning. Maintains records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborates with hospital departments to address facility-related needs and resolve issues. Participates in facility inspections and audits to ensure a safe and functional environment. Assists in budgeting and procurement of supplies and services for facility operations. Supports the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree Facilities preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes. Licenses and Credentials: Experience: Experience in facilities management or maintenance 2-3 years required and Experience in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient knowledge of facility management principles, including maintenance and operations of building systems. Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and contractors. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to hospital operations. Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting related to facilities operations. Problem-solving skills to address facility issues promptly and effectively.
